Capital Ear Care is not yet open. This site exists to gauge interest in a planned ear cleaning clinic in central Washington, DC, and to let interested people join a waitlist. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
If you submit the waitlist form, we receive:
- Your email address — so we can tell you when the clinic opens.
- Your ZIP code — so we know which neighbourhoods interest is coming from.
- The option you selected from the "Which best describes you?" question.
- Your mobile number, only if you chose to provide it.
We also record basic technical information about how you arrived: which advertisement and search term brought you here, and whether you were on a phone, tablet, or computer. This is standard web analytics and is not linked to anything beyond the form entry itself.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for and do not want medical information. We do not collect symptoms, medical history, medications, age, date of birth, images, insurance details, or payment information. Please do not send any of this by email either.
How we use it
We use it for two things only: to email you when appointment booking opens, and to understand in aggregate where interest is coming from so we can decide whether and where to open. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site, and stored in a private spreadsheet accessible only to the clinic's founder. Site analytics are provided by Google Analytics and Google Ads. Those providers handle data under their own terms.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until the clinic opens and we have contacted you, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. If the clinic does not proceed, we will delete the list.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@capitalearcare.com at any time and ask us to delete your entry, and we will do so and confirm it.
No medical relationship
This site is for general information only. It does not provide medical advice, and joining the waitlist does not create a physician–patient relationship. If you have a blocked ear now, please contact your primary care physician or an ENT practice.
