Direct visualization. The procedure is performed under a binocular surgical microscope, so the canal and eardrum are seen throughout.
Photodocumentation. Images of your ear canal and eardrum are captured during the visit, so you can see what your ear looks like. You take the images with you.
Dry technique. Wax is removed with fine suction and instruments rather than water irrigation.
Single visit, by appointment. Typical appointments are 20–30 minutes.
